The English Ambassador team successfully executed a series of engaging initiatives throughout the first term, with a strong focus on interactive language practice and cultural enrichment.
One of the key weekly activities involved the Ambassadors conducting recess engagements. They interacted with students across the campus, posing themed questions and riddles to encourage spontaneous English conversation in a relaxed setting.
The team also organised a dedicated Thanksgiving event. The Ambassadors utilised e-books to introduce the history and traditions of the festival. Students participated by writing thank-you cards to express appreciation to their peers, teachers, and family members. The activity also included a session of Thanksgiving-themed Tongue Twisters, which added an element of fun to language learning.
The term concluded with a Christmas Karaoke event, held in collaboration with the Junior String Orchestra. The Orchestra provided a musical performance for the participants. Each karaoke session began with a prayer, followed by group singing of Christmas carols. A photo station was also operated by the Ambassadors, where students could take Polaroid photographs to commemorate the occasion.
