Curriculum Overview

At Maryknoll Convent School (Primary Section), our school-based curriculum is thoughtfully designed to foster holistic development in our students. Led by the Curriculum, Learning and Teaching (CLT) Committee, we emphasize self-reflection and self-directed learning through initiatives like “From me to ME,” which encourages students to strengthen their metacognitive skills and reflect on their strengths and weaknesses. Our innovative lesson designs integrate the 5E model, STEAM initiatives, and BYOD strategies, promoting a blended learning environment where technology enhances educational experiences. We are committed to preparing future-ready students through collaborative projects, such as our school-based STEAM curriculum and partnerships with different Maryknoll communities and tertiary institutions. Our school also ensures that values education and gifted and cultural education are integrated into our curriculum, aligning with the EDB initiatives and responding to our students’ interests and needs.
