Building on the success of the first term, the English Ambassador Team once again delivered a series of engaging initiatives, this time with an enhanced focus on e-learning, alongside interactive language practice and cultural enrichment.
The Ambassadors continued their weekly recess and lunchtime engagements, moving around the campus to pose themed questions and riddles. These casual yet purposeful interactions encouraged students to use spontaneous English in a relaxed and supportive environment.
To celebrate the Lunar New Year, the team organised a special event titled “New Year, New Me!” Ambassadors used interactive e-books to introduce the festival’s history and traditions. Students then designed personalised bookmarks, each featuring a New Year’s resolution. Adding to the festive spirit, the Ambassadors also walked around the campus with riddles placed inside red packets, inviting students to solve them on the spot.
In the second half of the term, the team hosted an Easter event called “Easter Quest”. For Primary 1–3 students, the activity featured station-based games, including Easter-themed riddles, a “Where’s Wally?”–style Easter egg hunt, and iPad games, all centred on Easter vocabulary and traditions. For Primary 4–6 students, participants worked in pairs to solve a series of riddles. They scanned QR codes that directed them to a dedicated website containing clues and information. Upon solving all the riddles, students received a final challenge. The first five pairs to solve the final riddle won a voucher for a Polaroid photo, which they could take with friends at a photo station operated by the Ambassadors.
Overall, the English Ambassador initiatives continued to promote the authentic and joyful use of English, while fostering an inclusive school atmosphere through the thoughtful integration of iPads and e-learning tools.
