Mid-Autumn Festival was celebrated at school with a day full of cultural learning and festive activities. During this festive occasion, we presented each student with a traditional paper lantern. Our non-Chinese speaking students enjoyed a mini party featuring the cultural significance of the festival. We also introduced our students to the Chinese Farmers’ Harvest Festival and the contributions of farmers and agriculturalists, allowing students to appreciate the hard work and perseverance of farmers and learn to cherish food. To wrap up the day, we had an exciting lucky draw, where students had the chance to win seasonal fruits like pears, starfruits, and some lucky ones even got a mini mooncake!
